County Detention Intake
A county detention facility prisoner intake: roller door, sally-port signage, chain-link gates, a guard hut and authorized-vehicles-only signs.
County Detention Intake is a proposed exterior location setting at Digital Canaries, an independent film studio in Hamilton, Ontario, about an hour from Toronto. The building exists today — fenced industrial yard on one of our lots, photographed below as it stands — it is just not dressed this way yet. The rendering shows the redress; a production registers interest, and it is built to order for its dates.
The intake side of a county detention facility: a Prisoner Intake 1 sign over a roller door, a ring-for-intake call box, security cameras, chain-link gates with County Detention Facility signs, a staff door with sheriff's star signage, bollards, a guard hut and a concrete barrier.
The base: A dark-clad industrial building with a roller door and a yard that takes chain-link fencing.
Signage, graphics and dressing shown are placeholders and change per production. The controlled exterior at 190 Britannia is the one exterior standing set shootable today; everything on this page is proposed.
