Hospital Emergency Entrance
An illuminated Emergency entrance with automatic doors, ambulance-bay signage and a lit hospital sign on the wall.
Hospital Emergency Entrance is a proposed exterior location setting at Digital Canaries, an independent film studio in Hamilton, Ontario, about an hour from Toronto. The building exists today — modular entrance canopy on one of our lots, photographed below as it stands — it is just not dressed this way yet. The rendering shows the redress; a production registers interest, and it is built to order for its dates.
A hospital emergency entrance: red illuminated EMERGENCY lettering over a covered entry, automatic glass doors opening onto a lit reception, directional signs for the main entrance, patient drop-off and ambulance-only lane, an ambulance at the bay and a hospital name sign on the adjoining wall.
The base: A permanent entrance canopy over an existing glass storefront and roller shutter, with an interchangeable sign cabinet and side panels. Change the signage and graphics and the same doorway reads as a hospital, a police division, an airport terminal or a corporate headquarters.
Signage, graphics and dressing shown are placeholders and change per production. The controlled exterior at 190 Britannia is the one exterior standing set shootable today; everything on this page is proposed.
