Medical Examiner's Office
A medical examiner's receiving entrance: green double doors under a small canopy, a receiving bell and a body trolley outside.
Medical Examiner's Office is a proposed exterior location setting at Digital Canaries, an independent film studio in Hamilton, Ontario, about an hour from Toronto. The building exists today — clerestory building on one of our lots, photographed below as it stands — it is just not dressed this way yet. The rendering shows the redress; a production registers interest, and it is built to order for its dates.
A county medical examiner's office, receiving side: a Medical Examiner sign over a small canopy, green steel double doors with vision panels, a Receiving buzzer, wall lanterns, a covered mortuary trolley at the door and a loading door further along the pale-green corrugated wall under a band of clerestory windows.
The base: A long single-storey industrial building with a band of clerestory windows above corrugated cladding and a central entrance on a paved forecourt.
Signage, graphics and dressing shown are placeholders and change per production. The controlled exterior at 190 Britannia is the one exterior standing set shootable today; everything on this page is proposed.
