Municipal Fleet Garage
A two-bay municipal fleet services garage with numbered bays, a plain sign and traffic cones.
Municipal Fleet Garage is a proposed exterior location setting at Digital Canaries, an independent film studio in Hamilton, Ontario, about an hour from Toronto. The building exists today — two-bay garage on one of our lots, photographed below as it stands — it is just not dressed this way yet. The rendering shows the redress; a production registers interest, and it is built to order for its dates.
A municipal works garage: two white roll-up bay doors numbered 01 and 02 in a black steel building, a Municipal Fleet Services sign, a centre personnel door, wall lights and traffic cones on the concrete apron. The plainest dressing of the two-bay garage, and the starting point for the others.
The base: A single-storey corrugated-steel building with two roll-up bay doors and a centre personnel door, on a concrete apron. Sign, door colour and yard dressing carry the identity.
Signage, graphics and dressing shown are placeholders and change per production. The controlled exterior at 190 Britannia is the one exterior standing set shootable today; everything on this page is proposed.
